Fat Smash Diet Review

The Fat Smash Diet was founded by a man named Ian Smith who is an M.D. He wrote a book called “The Fat Smash Diet” and it was a New York Times bestseller. Many people have loved his diet and his book.

His diet focuses on nutrition with exercise and creating a lifetime habit of eating healthy and exercising.

His diet goes through four stages to reach total health and a lifelong lifestyle. The first stage is a detox stage to clean your body out and start an exercise program. The second stage is a foundation stage where you increase the variety of foods you eat as well as proportions and you also increase you exercise time.

The third stage is a construction stage where you continue to add foods back into your diet as well as increase your exercise time. You are constructing you lifelong habits. In the fourth stage you are at “The Temple” stage and it is the stage where you add back in almost all foods as well as increasing exercise. This stage is meant for life.

Dr. Smith also has a chapter in his book where he tells you what to do when you reach a plateau in your diet plan. He also tells you what to do when you go to parties and such and it isn’t always exactly going to be your diet plan.

That is one thing that is different from most diets about this diet is its flexibility. It doesn’t tell you what you can and cannot eat and say that no matter what you always have to stick to exactly what it says. It is flexible.

For health this diet gets a ten rating because it incorporates all the important food groups. Not only does it incorporate the important food groups but it also points out and implements the necessity of combining exercise with your diet.

For speed it gets a nine. It gets you healthy and helps you to start losing weight very quickly. One woman said she lost nine pounds just in the first phase.

As to ease of implementation it should get a six. It may not be easy to implement, but like all worthwhile diets, it is not going to give you a magic, overnight, do nothing formula. If it is worthwhile, it will take effort.

Its ease of adherence would be an eight. Once you get into the habit of eating how he says as well as exercising how he says then it will not be very hard to stick to. It would be easier than most to stick to because of his flexibility for situations in which you may need to eat differently as well as situations where you feel like you are on a plateau.

For the busy lifestyle it would get a five because the diet requires you to eat four to five meals a day, something that is hard if you do not have time to stop and eat that often. Also a five because the first few phases would be difficult to do with a busy schedule because of the narrower choice of foods.

For family friendly it would get an eight. He doesn’t limit the food you eat except in the first few phases and after that, everything that is a part of the diet would be great for the whole family. Everyone could eat the same thing as everyone else and you wouldn’t have to make one meal for your family and a different meal for yourself.

Its long term potential gets a ten because if you followed the diet and stuck to it you would reach great health and be able to stay there for life. Your body would be getting all the nutrients it needs, so it would be very healthy inside. And you would be working out five days a week also so you would burn stuff that you do not need.

In the long run, this diet would be great for anybody.
