Vegan Diet Review

The Vegan Diet is a diet where people basically eat purely vegetarian. They do not believe in the use of animals so they will not eat animals.

They will not eat things that come from animals such as meat, fish, poultry, honey, eggs and dairy products.

People do not always do this diet just because the do not believe in using animals, they might do this diet for health reasons as well as religious and spiritual reasons.

This diet seems to be a pretty healthy diet. People on this diet seem to have better health benefits than diets that are mostly meat. They have benefits by not eating artificial products that are a lot of times given to farm animals such as growth hormones and anitbiotcs.

Vegetarian diets seem to give people a lot of good nutrients and the people on these diets have a lot of great things in their health that other people do not have. They eat a lot lower levels of satruated fats and they tend to have lower cholestrol, along with higher levels of other great nutrients.

It also shows that people on vegetarian diets have smaller mass than people on non-vegetarian diets. Besides mass, they die a lot less frequently of heart disease and their complications with diabetes can be significantly reduced.

But there are also some bad things that it seems happen with people on a strictly vegan diet. One of which is the lack of nutrients that they do not receive from other sources.

Some of the nutrients are vitamin A, D and B12. Vitamin D they can get from the sun, but vitamin A they can only get in meat sources.

There is a type of vitamin A called provitamin A that is found in plants, but it is not adequate and vegans can still have a vitamin A deficiency. It is also bad if a person does not get enough of vitamin B12. These can both have serious consequences and both vitamins are found in animal products.

For health the vegan diet should get an eight. While it does have great health benefits, it is missing important nutrients that come from a more balanced diet. A diet that includes all food groups whether or not there are animals included.

For adherence it deserves a four just because a strict vegan diet is very hard to stick to. It is hard to look at ingredients and know whether or not it is really vegan. It is also hard to eat out as it is hard to know if things are really strickly vegan.

Other things like medicines and vitamins are hard to avoid because they are needed and yet they are not always accurately labeled with the exactly corret ingredients.

For family friendly is deserves a four as well as four someone with a busy lifestyle. You cannot bring up children in a sticly vegan lifestyle because they will not receive all the necessary nutrients and they will be better off receiving things that come from meat.

For the busy lifestyle, a vegan diet would be very hard because you always have to be very careful of what you eat and very cautious of what is in it. This takes time and in a busy life, there is not a lot of time.

The long term potential for a vegan diet is a five. It is right in the middle. This is because in the long run you would have some great benefits, but you could also have some bad side effects.

The diet is not necessarily for losing weight, but for staying away from animals, so its speed when it comes to weight loss is a five. It depends on how your body reacts. You could either lose weight fast or you could lose it very slow.
