If you are on the three-day diet then what you eat is very regimental. You eat three meals a day, the meals are all planned out exactly what you will eat, and exactly how much of it you will eat. It isn’t even like “One piece of toast with peanut butter on it.” It is like “One piece of toast with exactly one tablespoon of peanut butter on it.”
Many diets will tell you your servings, and they might even tell you to eat fruit in the morning. But no diet says “eat one cup of bananas at lunch time.” It is pretty crazy.
So when it comes to what you can eat, you can only eat exactly what the doctor has written. Nothing more, nothing less. And what has he written? Well, this is what he has written:
Day one, Breakfast: You shall eat coffee or tea with a sugar substitute. You shall also eat one third, just one third, of a grapefruit.
And lastly, you shall have one piece of toast and on top of that piece of toast you may have . . . no butter, no cinnamon, nothing except exactly one tablespoon of peanut butter. Just one tablespoon, no more. So do not make your piece of bread too big, you might only get peanut butter on one half.
Day one, Lunch: You shall have one half a cup of tuna in spring water. If the whole can does not fit in the half a cup, well shucks, save it for someone else.
You shall also have one piece of toast. But forget about the peanut butter. This one you eat dry. You don’t want to have more than your fair share of peanut butter each day. That would be awful.
Finally, you shall eat coffee or tea with a sugar substitute again. Don’t try to squeeze in even a little bit of real sugar. Only a substitute.
Day one, Dinner: You shall eat three ounces of lean meat, lean, as well as one cup of green beans, one cup of carrots, one apple and one cup of vanilla ice cream. Mm . . .
Alright. Well on to day two, Breakfast: You shall once again have coffee or tea with a sugar substitute. You shall have one egg, just one, and one piece of dry toast. Nope. No peanut butter again.
Day two, Lunch: Well, this is probably the best meal yet. Get excited for this one. Are you ready? Alright. Here it is . . . on cup of cottage cheese or tuna (sound good yet?) And eight saltine crackers. How weird is that. Would you even be able to get it down?
Day two, Dinner: Hmm . . . well this is a little better than lunch. You can have two franks, like you really can have two of something during this meal. You can also have one cup of cabbage, half a cup of carrots, half a cup of bananas, and one half cup of vanilla ice cream. Hopefully you like vanilla ice cream. Other wise this diet probably isn’t your favorite when it comes to treats.
For day three, the last day, at Breakfast: You can have another cup of coffee or tea with a sugar substitute. You may also have five whole saltine crackers, one entire ounce of cheese and one whole apple. This is huge.
Day three, Lunch: One boiled egg, one piece of dry toast (again) and a cup of coffee or tea with a sugar substitute. Isn’t this diet getting better and better all the time?
Finally, day three, dinner: This is probably the most exciting ever. You can have one cup of: tuna in spring water, carrots, cauliflower, melon AND one half cup of vanilla ice cream.
And you are done finally! Are you excited?! That was an insane diet if ever you heard of insane diet.
